A snack is a portion of food eaten between meals. They may be simple, packageable items, fruits, vegetables, or more dishes. But they are considered to be less than a full meal. These are the most accessible snacks you can make at home.
Easy Homemade Potato Chips
I am a huge fan of potato chips. They have been one of my favourite snacks for a long time, and I love them. Take four potatoes, wash and dry them. Take a sharp knife and cut the potatoes into thin slices.
Put the potatoes in a large bowl. Add 1 cup of olive oil, a tablespoon of salt, and a teaspoon of seasoning. Take a roasting rack and add the potatoes to it. Cook the potatoes for 5 to 7 minutes until they are golden brown. Cool completely and store in an airtight jar for three days.
Chocolate Granola
Add one cup of olive oil and two tablespoons of butter to a medium pan. Add one cup brown sugar, 1 cup honey, one teaspoon vanilla extract, one cup cocoa powder, and one teaspoon salt. Mix it until the mixture is smooth. Add four cups of oats and one cup of chopped almonds to a large bowl.
Take two baking sheets with parchment paper and divide the mixture into them. Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 45 minutes until they are crispy. Cool completely, and add two cups of chocolate chunks. Please transfer it to the airtightness jar and keep it safe for one week.
Roasted Mix Nuts
Add six cups of mixed nuts to a large bowl. Add one cup virgin olive oil, 3 tbsp chopped rosemary, 2 tbsp chopped oregano, 2 tbsp chopped thyme, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp cayenne pepper, and two teaspoons garlic powder. Sprinkle the sea salt.
Take a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350F. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes until the nuts smell toasty. Cool completely and store in the airtight jar.
